This versatile concoction, steeped in the tradition of Korean cuisine, serves as a perfect blend for marinating meats or as a robust sauce to accompany your dishes. The marinade brings together a symphony of flavors - the sweetness of pear and sugar, the depth of soy sauce, and a hint of garlic and sesame oil, culminating in a rich, umami-packed experience. Ideal for beef bulgogi, this sauce can also transform chicken, pork, or even vegetables into a gourmet meal. Its multifaceted nature makes it suitable for grilling, stir-frying, or even as a dipping sauce, providing a delightful Korean twist to your favorite dishes.

 

Directions

  • Cut beef into the appropriate size or have it thinly cut by a local butcher.
  • Evenly marinate meat with O’Food Korean BBQ Marinade and minced garlic for min 30 minutes. For the best taste, marinate the meat further by storing it in the fridge for a day.
  • Slice onion, paprika and scallions diagonally.
  • Clean and wash mushrooms and cut them into bite-size pieces.
  • In a heated pan, stir fry beef over high heat and add onion, scallion, paprika when meat is half cooked.
  • When ingredients are nearly cooked, add mushrooms, drizzle sesame oil and sesame seeds. Lightly sauté before serving.



Ingredients

  • O’Food Korean BBQ Marinade, 250 gr
  • Beef sirloin steak (2mm sliced), 680 gr
  • 1 Onion, sliced
  • 2 blades of scallions, thinly sliced
  • 1 paprika, sliced
  • Enoki mushroom, 50 g
  • 5 shiitake mushrooms, chopped
  • 10 button mushrooms, cut into cubes
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • Sesame oil or olive oil, 1 tsp
  • Sesame seeds, 2 pinches
