Elevate your appetizer game with this Panko Herbs Calamari recipe. Tender calamari rings are coated in a crispy panko breadcrumb mixture, seasoned with a blend of aromatic herbs. The panko ensures a golden, crunchy exterior while keeping the calamari inside succulent and tender. These fried delights are served with a zesty lemon wedge, adding a bright, citrusy note that cuts through the richness. Direction

  • Preheat air fryer at 190 Celsius.
  • Marinade calamari rings with lemon juice for about 30 minutes.
  • In a shallow dish, combine the flour and salt.
  • Beat eggs into a separate shallow bowl
  • In a separate shallow dish, mix bread crumbs with chopped parsley, oregano and paprika powder.
  • Remove the squid from lemon juice then dredge it in the following order: flour, eggs and herb breadcrumbs.
  • Place baking paper on the air fryer basket and place calamari rings.
  • Spray some cooking oil on the calamari rings and place basket inside air fryer.
  • Spray cooking oil from time to time.
  • Cook calamari  for about  5-6 minutes each side until it is cooked through  and crispy.
  • Serve with lemon wedge or your favorite dipping sauce.

  • Calamari rings 300 gr
  • Lemon juice 1 lemon
  • Flour 30 gr
  • Table salt
  • Beaten eggs 2
  • O’Food bread crumbs Panko 70 gr
  • Fresh chopped parsley 1 gr
  • Oregano 1 gr
  • Paprika powder 1 gr
  • Baking paper
  • Spray cooking oil canola or avocado
  • Lemon wedge to garnish
